It's just rain!
Rainfall Radar as of from 11.30am.
I am looking out the window and I suppose bemused is the only word that describes the feeling. I know we say we are here to talk about the solutions and not the problems. That we know the problems and its time for action, but do you know what? I am amazed. The whole of August was record rain after record rain, its now September and its tropical rainfall again, GO EASY ON THE GAS PEOPLE. I am looking outside and its business as usual, nothing is changing, if I have to beg I will, no problem, just say the word. There's a comment box, use it!!

Hi, Thanks for the comment, who are you??

You're right, it's business as usual.
Record petrol prices and yet there has been no drop in demand. Electricity and Gas prices are going up and people's reaction is to shout and complain rather than use less.
I am convinced more than ever that it cannot be left to the public to make the changes required to protect the environment, we are just too selfish and self-interested. It is the role of government - align VAT with energy efficiency (A rated 5% - G rated 50%) tax bottled water, decrease tax on well insulated homes, remove VAT from bicycles, make public transport much cheaper than driving and so on and so on...

It makes alot of sense to me too. The bottom up will only work when the structure is put in place by the powers that be. People need direction out of this one, at least a guiding light at the start. The people in power gotta show us how to let go of the power!!
