Hi all,
Green Drinks goes red, white and blue tomorrow Tuesday 4 November as the world gears up for the results of the US election.
Join us from 6pm upstairs in the South William Bar Dublin 2, to mark the day the US elects a president who believes climate change is man-made and requires strong political action.
Ben and Jerry's, the Vermont based ice-cream company which campaigns on climate change, is providing free ice-cream.
Richard Delevan, journalist and native New Yorker living in Ireland, will give a 15 minute talk at 7pm on the impact of the election on US climate policy.
So drop in and enjoy something cooling to celebrate a landmark day in the fight to stop the Earth over-heating.
Green Drinks is a simple idea that's gone global.
Once a month in 416 cities around the world people with an interest in green issues get together to chat, share ideas and raise a glass to a brighter future.
In Ireland Green Drinks is organized by Leaf Living and Friends of the Earth.
We hope to see you there,
