Turn off the Carbon where ever its not needed!!!

I think as an overall message to this situation, "Turn off the Carbon" has really helped me to be aware of everything that can emit carbon and if it aint in use to turn it off. We have so many opportunities to do this in our daily lives.

Achieving it is being aware of it. So many activities in our lives emit carbon. I will probably never achieve it, but its just a reminder to be aware of my energy use. I guess it simplifies the overall message of each individual goal, it works for me. Turn off the Carbon baby!!

I'm a little allergic to the use of the word 'carbon' as a shorthand for CO2 emissions. First of all, it's not very accurate, and second it's replaceing the cause (ie burning of fossil fuels mainly, and cutting down forests some) with the effect. Why not address the cause and talk about the dirty fossil fuels word? The more we become familiar with the intense energy richness of so much of what we do, the easier it will be to move to solutions to use less fossil fuel energy.
