Close my curtains each dusk to retain heat

Closing curtains at dusk means you create an extra layer of insulation just as the air outside starts to cool. This helps keep your bedroom warm and your heating costs down. Curtains - not just for keeping your neighbours from seeing your naked wobbly bits! Give it a try today.

I always do this. I even close all doors between the different rooms, so I can turn the heating off overnight.

We have shutters too...they are fab, we made little wooden wedges to put behind the bar to help them close better.

Even better, we have shutters in our house as well as curtains!
