Draught proof my windows
Is there a draught in here or is just me? If you feel the occasional chill coming from your windows then chances are you're wasting money. Draught proof any poorly fitted windows and cut your fuel bills. Brrrr!

What is the best way to draft proof windows? 1 answer

The expensive option: You could install secondary double glazing that can be removed during hot periods and fitted during cold spells. There would be an issue with where to store the glazing panels when not in use.
The less expensive option: There is a plastic film available on the market which you can effectively use to shrink-wrap your windows. Looks a bit naff though.
Even cheaper third option: buy foam strip seals that sit between the window and frame. When the window is closed, a tight seal will be created.
