Hi there! Edenbee is an online community of people who believe a little innovation can make a big difference to combat climate change. It’s easy – just tell us a little about yourself, answer some simple questions and you’re straight into a hive of activity.

We’re here to help you measure your current carbon footprint and create tailored goals to reduce it. You can track your goals over time and see the effect in your own personal ‘Carbon Timeline’.

A bit stuck on where to begin? Simply ask other Edenbees for their suggestions and advice! Or form a group and work with other Edenbees on a common goal. Groups can track their group footprint, discuss goals and ideas and cheer each other on

Want advice on being greener? Read our blog posts. And check the website regularly – we’ve got plenty more funky tools on the way. You’ll get a real buzz from achieving your goal and telling other Edenbees how you did it. So lets get cracking, are you a carbon footprint toddler or T-Rex?

Our philosophy

...is revealed by our name:

Eden – the Garden of Eden is the ideal to return to, before humanity began to degrade our biosphere.

Bee – the bee is quite simply the most successful social network in nature.

Bees are friendly, non-aggressive, communicating and cooperative.

Industrious, they respect their environment, while getting sustenance in a sustainable way. They work with nature making valuable honey, and helping other life reproduce by aiding pollination.

Frankly, it’s quite something to live up to – but the thing is to get started on practical work – like the Bee!

Who’s behind Edenbee

Edenbee is brought to you by a group of guys who wanted to make a difference. The team consists of Peter O’Brien, David Hayes and Ken Kinsella.

Peter is most likely to be seen on a mobile phone. He’s the busy bee responsible for making the connections and dealing with deals.

Dave is responsible for the creative buzz at Edenbee and making sure the best people work with us. He’s also a dab hand with the office blue tack.

Ken has several important acronyms like CPO, COO and CEO (but sadly not C3PO). We aren't really sure what this all means but he's in charge of the office kitty.
